Over the past few weeks we have been learning all about adventure stories and all the different features that need to be included. One of the features is speech punctuation, we need this to show the reader when different characters are speaking at different times in our writing. There is so much to remember when we write speech. Here's a little clip to remind the Curious Crocodile's how to use speech punctuation successfully. Write a comment using speech below to show how you have used the 3 steps Terry has told you about. In the first week back the Curious Crocodile's came back talking a load of nonsense! It worked out quite well, as we soon found out that a lot of the characters in Alice in Wonderland (the book that we are reading) also spoke a lot of nonsense too. Take a look at the children performing their favorite nonsense poem, On The Ning Nang Nong! Watch this space for their own versions of the poem too! Hello Curious Crocodiles, I have uploaded a clip that you can use to help you find fractions of numbers. Hope it helps! Follow this link to YouTube to find out what your task is for this week. Remember this is optional. Please make a comment down below on this page or the YouTube page to show what you have found out. I cannot wait to see your comments. Good Luck Crocodiles! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a86s9icB618 |
